Description
Jan Doms is an artist with a dual educational background, combining constructive sculpture with cultural studies insights into architecture and urban planning. Jan is the winner of the 2018 Bernadine de Neeve Prize.
Are large-scale, dynamic work, where movement and space are central, is visible in many countries. A striking example is the 52-meter-high production tower in the Eindhoven skyline, where sculpture, architecture, and urban planning merge.
During Glassrijk 2026, Doms will present his fascination with glass art and movement in a subdued but intense presentation. In it, he explores how light, transparency, and spatial dynamics reinforce each other and evoke new experiences.
His contribution seamlessly aligns with the objective of GLASRIJK: to provide a platform for artists who thoughtfully push the boundaries of glass art.
