GLASRIJK Tubbergen is a unique glass art event where artists, visitors, volunteers, and companies come together to create something special. For thirty years, GLASRIJK's mission has been to promote glass art in a accessible and surprising way with the public to bring. Close, innovative and always of high quality.
This year is the thirtieth edition, a jubilee!
But wonder doesn't come by itself.
The organization's costs have risen significantly in recent years. At the same time, we want to keep most of GLASRIJK free and publicly accessible to everyone. To make that possible, we are building a strong foundation of grant providers and sponsors. In 2026, we will also be asking for a limited financial contribution for a number of special locations. Visitors can purchase a digital pass – for one or four days – to gain access to these locations.
In 2024 and 2025 respectively, GLASRIJK Tubbergen attracted no fewer than 15,000 and 20,000+ visitors over four days! On GLASRIJK Saturday in 2024, a record was set with the highest number of visitors ever on a Saturday in Tubbergen in 2024, reaching 6,500. Our ambition is to improve this by 2026; good and dry weather would help with this!
The glass artists from home and abroad also want to surprise and inspire the numerous visitors to GLASRIJK at the upcoming anniversary edition with their beautiful artworks.
